The program was M.C.'d by Mr. Werner Schneeberger, Chair- man of the Group Committee. The Cubs and Brownies sang carols and presented _ some very oriqinal skits which were enjoyed by. the parents and visitors alike, . being New Years Eve, : Ge6009 and drinks before dinner was held at The Centre exclusive ely for the singles in town. This was something mew this year compliments of the C.C.C. Those who attended found out the Community Club can be very generous with their Christmas wishes! The Chiidren were not forgotten either as a free show was held in their honor Sunday, December 26th, Of course December 31st, a party was held at the Community Centre. Even though a live band could not be found any- where, the party was well attended and the citizens must be commended for their good behavior. Things will again settle down now that the festive recently held a meeting to — discuss activities for the Cubs for the long winter months, project nights, and various other activities. Thinking Week is between the 20th of February and the 27th. A church parade in full uniform will be held on Sunday, February 20th which will beqin the week's activities. Vi more athletic programs can be looked forward to. A new recreation hall schedule with specific times allotted for different sports will soon be posted. One copy of each will be put up in the Retail Store and the Recreation Hal] along with any other Centre news. If you want to part- icipate, put your names down on the posted lists as they appear.
