Over the Edge is part of the Canadian University Press network of papers, otherwise known as CUP. Cup is an organization that is entirely owned by member papers, and provides such services as a news wire and advertisements to Over the Edge. I don’t know about you, but I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of winter break. While I do not have any special plans lined up, I do plan to catch up on some sleep! This issue is jam packed with holiday joy for all to enjoy — and we hope that you do! As all university students strive to do, this semester I am graduating (final- ly!). And as such, Over the Edge is looking for a new budding journalist to step into my shoes (size 7). Since we have yet to find this person, I will be continuing my editorial duties into the next semester. The ideal situation is that an eager individual would apply to Over The Edge (send resume, cover letter and sample of writing to over-the-edge@unbc.ca) and be hired before the next semester is over so we can work together to ensure the smoothest transition possible. So, if you are interested in working for Over the Edge and you would like to add an awesome job to your resume, please do apply! The perks include working with a great group of people, $200 a month, and invaluable experience for future employers and schools. I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday season. Over the Edge will be back with another issue on the first day of school! i) RADUATE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC POLICY >> Lead Change In today’s changing world, responsible public management and evidence-based policy making are more important than ever in improving the quality of public life.
