1 Jimmy Cliff/ Various Artists- The
Harder eo: Come OST

Back in 1972, this was pretty much
the only reggae album you could find
ounside of Jamaica, and irs still one of
the best introductions.

2. Toots and the Maytals- Punky
Kingston,

This is where reggae got its name.

3. Culture- Two Sevens Clash

Forget" Legend.” For many, this is che
greatest reggae album of all rime.

4. Lee"Scratch” Perry- Arkology

Perry is hands-down the most
influential producer of the reggae scene
and this 3-disc set shows why,

5, Various Artisrs- The History of
Trojan Records Vol. 1 and Vol. 2

Trojan was largely responsible for
bringing reggae to the English: punks,
and these rettospectives capture
many, many gems. If five discs is too
much for you, try"20 Reggae Classics’
compilation instead.

Christmas is really about. Giving
