Citizenship means culture, religion,
education and progress of the individual
and of the group towards something which
they ardently desire. Every step opens up
a whole new vista.

People who are not in touch with the
Community have at best a very precarious
hold on happiness. A good citizen
participates in and promotes with intel-
ligence, the programs of his Commmity.
He bears allegiance to the ideals, and to

looking forward to the New Year with a
newly elected Council and lots of ideas
from the Commmity to improve our town and
to make it a better place to live.

It is a disgrace in Cassiar that
responsible residents will let their dogs
run loose in packs after many, many notices
and warnings.

As soon as the dog catcher leaves on
holidays you disregard all the town rules.
Someone's child could be badly mauled by
dogs in packs particularly.

There have been several notices to all
vehicle owners, not to park your cars or
pick-ups on the street, particularly if you
do not intend to drive the car for weeks at
a time.

We Jhave a limited budget for snow
clearing and for your benefit would like
to keep the streets as clean as possible.
A few people have ignored our request for
your co-operation when plowing snow. -

In the future a towing charge of
$10.00 will be made for any vehicle that
has to be removed from the street during
snow clearing operation.
