FAREWELL ARLENE

After one and a hal years in Cassiar,
working tn the Town Administration Office,
Arktene Stefantshion, Left to explore New
Zealand. Her many frtends in Cassiar wish
her the very best in her new adventure.
Twenty-five of these friends journeyed to
Watson Lake to personakky see that she
made the plane on Sunday afternoon. The
noad back to Cassianr was wrought with
pertls; 4t kept getting narrower and
narrower and corners kept appearing where
there were no corners. Nevertheless the
Snow Shovelling was good exercise and all
auvived safe and fairly sound back in

Cassia.

My 4<tinerary since Leaving Cassiar has
changed daily and this «ts how F an in
Beautiful downtown Auckland, New Zealand.
Prion to this «<t was Edmonton, Calgary,
Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angelos and Mexico.
Can you bek<eve F am burned to a arksp
akneady, and whittle the sun 48 doting a
tremendous job of melting away pounds of
this excess blubber from my Miss Canada
Body, I do nxeakly miss Cassiar and the
mountains of snow.

Praesentky we are in the process of
buying a can and then will tour all of
New Zealand and then hopefully onto
Aus tnrakia.

I do not enjoy betng unemployed and
agatn 4t5 "instant mad". No problem
though while T'm here. T'm gotng to enjoy
At, and when my first million runs out,
hopefully I'22 be able to once again join
the nanks of CACL.

Gerry Charette, Mine Foreman, comes
from Williams Lake, B. C. He and
his wife Patricia, daughter Lauretta
age 16, and son Kevin age 14 are
residing at 209 Smith St.

Wayne Mayell, Assistant Lab Super-
visor, who originally hails from

Oak Lake, Ont., arrived here after
a 1% yr. working stint in Vancouver.
Wayne lives in the Men's Staff House

John Millerchip, Method Engineer,
formerly of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. He
and his wife Marlene and daughters
Gail 6 and Claire 2 are living in
house Noe 271 on Hunt St.

Dayton Thesenvitz, Maintenance
Engineer, formerly of Sudbury, Ont.,
resides at 297 Carmacks St. with
his wife Doris and daughter Jodi,

4 months old.
