T is the intention of the publishers, in presenting this map and
S booklet to you, to supply every member and tourist with
accurate and reliable information on roads, points of interest,
game, resources, etc., in the district from Ashcroft to Prince George.

The gift of this publication to you is made possible by the gen-
erous response of the advertisers contained herein, and we would
ask you to consider them in your needs of the future. A great deal
of care has been taken in selecting reliable firms, all of whom will
give QUALITY consistent with PRICE.

This association was formed primarily for the purpose of pro-
moting the interests of motorists as regards roads, etc., but it is
also the aim and will be the earnest endeavor of the association to
make the visiting motorists, pleasure seekers and business men
acquainted with the wealth of resources, scenery, game, etc., that the
district contains from Ashcroft to Barkerville, Prince George and
contiguous points reached by roads branching out from the famous
Cariboo Road.

We venture to make the assertion that there are but few places
on this continent where one may step in their auto and travel in
comfort right into the heart of the greatest hunting country to be
found. We, at least, do not know of a duplicate, and as far as

the scenery is concerned, it cannot be surpassed.

We invite all partaking in this wonderful trip to carefully
investigate the unlimited resources awaiting development along the
entire route, and as you read this booklet, which has been carefully
prepared and is authentic, to give consideration to the many oppor-

tunities for investment.

We, The Cariboo Automobile Association, have nothing we are
offering for sale, but are only endeavoring to place before the reader
a few solid facts of what our territory has to offer, and we bid you
a sincere and hearty welcome to come and look-see. We shall try
to make your trip enjoyable and your body comfortable, from the
time you reach ASHCROFT, the gateway, until your return.
