fhe Kiskatinaw flows in a valley about
500 feet deep in an easterly direction across the
centre of the township. ‘The portion south of the
river only has been investigated. A fine hay meadow
was found in the south half of section 2e A good
Class of merchantable timber was seen in the timber
berth int the south half of section 6. Host of the
timber in the remainder of the tormship has been
fire-killed. A large spruce svamp wes seen in the
north part of section 2 and extenéing in section 10
and ll. The soil is « clay loam with pockets of
sané in mumercus places. As a whole, this township
dces not offer any inducenents for immediate settle
mente The only access to the township is by a wagon
rosa to the hay meedow in section 2 and by several
survey pack trails.

of this type. Such lands instead of being leased to
individuals, shoulé be reserved by the Government and
