SWIMMING POOL

The CASSIAR LIONS CLUB Swimming Pool Project has become A-GO-GO project with the
arrival of hot weather. Some Lions have bared their fangs and blood, sweat, and work are
the order of the evenings. Mid-July is their target date. The pool opening should be a real
cool party. The Lions advise they have received two very generous donations: one from

Mr. W. G. Hamilton, of White Pass and Yukon Route, for $500.00, and one from long time
friend and booster of things in Cassiar, Johnny Friend of Watson Lake Motors. The Lions also
advise they are having a good turnout of helpers on the pool project and will be putting the
bite on more of you in the near future to join their work parties.
