Fossils were found at several localities on the southwest and west side
of Tweedsmuir Peak but only two collections were made.

At this locality belemnites were very prolific and a fairly large collection
was made but none of the specimens was well enough preserved for diagnostic
identification.

Age: Probably Middle Jurassic

Fossils similar to those detailed above were found on Holmes Ridge
in the southeastern part of the map-area but their preservation was so poor
that positive identification or dating other than ‘Jurassic’ could not be made.
