SS Cassiar Stewart Highway The residents of Cassiar are used to being left out of any Government program, but we did receive a small amount of satisfaction if nothing else by having the highway carry the name of Cassiar. the highway does not actually come into Cassiar, but then neither does it actually go into Stewart. If you are going to change the name of this highway from the Stewart Cassiar Highway why not make it the Terrace to Yukon Highway as 99% of the traffic never go into Stewart.
