SERGT. ALEX DUNBAR PASSES THE FORCE lost another of its veteran members when Sergt. Alex Dunbar passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital at Vic- toria on May 12th last. The late Sergeant, who had been seriously ill for many months, was widely known through- out British Co- lumbia. Born at Loch Goilhead, Argyle- shire, Scotland, in 1884, he came out to Western Can- ada as a young man and joined the B. C. Police at Golden in Au- eer gust, 1912.
