Welcome to Jesse and Jane Guardon. Before coming
_ to Cassiar they spent an enjoyable holiday in Spain.
Jesse, an Electrician, enjoys reading and apparently is
a connoisseur of wine and gourment cooking. Jane, a

R.N. at the Cassiar Private Hospital, likes cooking and —

entertaining and is also an artist. Jesse is originally | Miss Mabel Bond from Trail, B.C. came to Cassiar to
from Spain and Jane comes from Wales. The Guardon's nurse Marlene back to health and did a good job. Never

reside at 371 McDame Street. in her life had she seen so much snow and took pictures

of the roof tops just to prove it. Vancouver was a
beautiful sight after leaving Cassiar as the crocuses
were in bloom and the tulips were pushing their heads
up to bid everyone a nice spring.

Markle

We welcome Bill and Darline Markle and their 10 a |

old daughter Jody. Bill works for Finning Tractor and
came to Cassiar from Prince George. Darline's pastimes |. Con ratulations : |
are reading and crocheting and Bill enjoys flying in %

his own 2.seater plane. The Markle's are outdoors people

and are now living at 351 Brown Street. Congratulations to Brian Chambers on his promotion

Welcome to Dale and Tina Praught and their 2 sons,

Raymond - 3 years old and Ben - 1 year old. Finning
Tractor transferred Dale from Terrace to Cassiar. Tina

likes to knit if she has any spare time and Dale is 0 16 0
learning to fly. The Praught's reside at 355 Brown St. FF : BSERVATIONS

THIBEAULT who came to Cassiar
from Nova Scotia. Louise
works as an Accounting Clerk
iI in the Accounting Office.
She finds Cassiar very scenic
and enjoys various sports
such as cross-country skiing,
volleyball and badminton.

Welcome to Don and Debbie Clease who came from
Kamloops. Don is a welder and mechanic for Finning
Tractor. They enjoy hunting, fishing, and hiking and
wondered when spring came to Cassiar. Beware of their
white dog, Skeena. Debbie and Don reside at 346
Bateman Street. :

Welcome to Gerald and Christina Doran and their
little ones, Shane - 3 years old and Chelsie - 7 months
Old. Cassiar is a long way from their home in Nova
Scotia. Christina was impressed by the scenery here,
especially the mountains. Gerald is involved with
Environmental Control in Cassiar. The Doran's enjoy
snowmobiling and camping and will make their new home at
283 Carmacks Street. s

Momessy

As Dr. Morresey's wife was not welcomed in last
months edition we will welcome Lesley in February's issue
Lesley is a R.N. at the Cassiar Private Hospital. In
her spare time Lesley enjoys skiing and hopes to be an
avid curler by the end of the winter. Lesley is
originally from New Zealand but came to Cassiar from
Ashcroft, B.C. Dr. & Mrs. Morresey reside at 189
Zimmerman Street.

Welcome back Grant and Henriette Smith, who have
returned to Cassiar after living in Clinton Creek, Yukon
for 3 1/2 years. They now have a son - Christopher -

l 1/2 years old. Grant is a Mill Engineer. The Smith's
reside at. 181 Zimmerman Street.

We bid Barbara Maki farewell and good luck. Many
thanks Barbara for the time and effort you put into
organizing the Local O & T Union. On Thursday, January
15th, 1976 friends and co-workers congregated in the
lounge to wish Barbara all the best and presented her
