Anyone caught driving March 1 without the Mle
_ government car insurance package will be liable to a
fine of up to $250 and 10 demerit points on his driving
1ieence:

The Dawson Creek Claims Centre will handle claims
for the northern end o e Province starting at Chet-
wynd and extending along the Alaska Highway to the bor-
ders of Alberta and Yukon Territory. We will also
service Highway 37 to include Cassiar, (Cassiar north to
Yukon Territory, Cassiar south on Route 37 is in the
Terrace claims area). :

Our address is 1107 - 103 Avenue; our telephone
number is 782-8131. Our office hours will be 8:15 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our telephone
will be answered by the answering service after hours.
Adjusters will be available on call for emergencies.

B.C. DRIVER INS.

Effective March 1, 1974 all applications for a
B.C. Drivers Licence must also purchase drivers insur-

ance.

During the second week of March an application form
for drivers insurance will be mailed to all drivers on -
record as of February 28, 1974. Present the form you
receive to the Motor Vehicle Branch Office.

If you have not received a driver insurance renewal
application by April 1, 1974, you should apply at your
Motor Licence Office for insurance coverage before May ‘>
1974.
