Campaign Chairman, CASSIAR CUB NEWS Assistant regional commissioner Dave Rollie and provincial field executive Bill Richardson recently attended a cub meeting at Cassiar. The pack had planned a project night during which the cubs made masks or mobiles for Halloween. The two commissioners talked to the cubs while they were making their decorations. The pack meeting was brought to a close with a short campfire which was thoroughly enjoyed by the cubs. PFE Richardson, resplendent in his camfire blanket, taught the cubs some new yells which were sufficiently creepy enough to de- light even the toughest cub. ‘coup committee was formed on the advice and help of Mr. Richard- son. We are very fortunate indeed to have Werner Schneeberger who | moved here from Whitehorse heading | the committee. Mr. Schneeberger held an im {portant position with the Yukon | Scout Council, although I'm sure Whitehorse regrets it's loss, we value our gain. Other members of the committee are Bob Munro, rep- resentative for our sponsors, the Cassiar Lions Club, Mrs. Betty ‘Brydon, Mrs. Shirley Orpen, Mrs. Elizabeth Grigq and Mrs. Rita Derby. It was a pleasure to see new faces and. familar ones at the meeting. Thank you for coming and giving support to our cubbing activities. Mrs. Patricta Rovak.
