He’d forgotten where he parked it. Police attended again for husband- wife trouble in downtown hotel. He was “tighter” than her and police left after the wife had put her “better half” to bed. Station asked to send officer to kill nest of racoons deep inside an oak tree on property near the city centre. Constable Hannay and the property owners smoked the ’coons out with a burning oily rag and the officer shot them. One fell back into the hole and it was filled with water to drown the animal in case the shot had not done the work; also to kill any young which might be in it. Woman telephones station askin for help to locate the husband she has been separated from for a long time. She wished to be reunited with him.
