Marion Hunt-Doig Elder and Order of Canada Recipient and the University of Northern British Columbia First Nations Program Centre proudly presents _ MAKING WORKSHOP > Respected Elder Marion Hunt-Doig, and facilitator of a \ large Chicago power robe workshop, will be facilitating a series of workshops on West Coast motif button blanket making for the Northern Advancement Program students. The First Nations Program Centre is extending an open invitation to include other participants from the university community in this exciting cross-cultural workshop. ~~ The date and location of the workshop will be determined by the amount of interest from students, staff, and faculty. The cost for the workshops includes red and black melton and abalone buttons, and is estimated at $260/participant. Marion Hunt-Doig will be making an_ orientation presentation on January 14, to answer any questions and @ @ outline the workshop process.
