FUTURE

Preliminary cost estimates have recently been
developed with, respect to the further upgrading
of Cassiar's environment. The estimated
capital required should these proposals be
implemented exceeds 30 million dollars. Some

of the proposals being considered are:

a) New Sewage Treatment Plant with capacity
to service complete Town and Plantsite areas.
Completion of Tailings conveyor revisions
and installation of fabric filters at all
tailings transfer points.
Continuing Townsite/Plantsite Paving and
Re-vegetation Programs.
Installation of New Mill to replace the
Original (pre 1970) Mili. This wel

further expand the air filtration systems.

Major revisions to Dry Rock Storage Building

and associated materials handling circuits.
Removal of aesthetically unpleasant and/or
obsolete buildings.

Major revisions to Dryer Ciccures.

Further revisions to Mine Crushing Plant

area.
