CURLING NEWS The Curling Wind-Up was held Saturday, May 1, 1971 and a thank you to all members of the club for their support in helping to make the evening a success. The Banquet was off to a good start by a delicous supper of Cornish Game Hens, served by Claude Marseilles and his staff. Frank Nitti our Prize Chairman displayed numerous trophies am prizes fa the "lucky" curlers this year. As G. Edwards commented "One way or another it was Frank's night!" Prizes donated by the sponsers were generous as well as outstanding. Gordon Edwards who has been our M.C. for many years am during this time has given us many jokes was thanked by the Curling Club with a gift of a "Rigid Joke Book." Also a special thank you was given Mary Tomashewski, Ed Tomash- ewski and Ed Michael in appreciat-— ion of their hard work towards making this a successful Curling Season. Music by Cassiar's local band "The Take 5" was enjoyed by all and concluded another Curling Wind-Up.
