SIH BS Mary Ann Milnthorp Mary Ann has been teaching primary grades for seven years and is pres- ently on staff at the school as the grade one teacher. She was born and raised in Saskatchewan so is a tre prairie girl and received her university education in Saskatoon. Her teaching career has taken her through schools in Alberta, Sask- atchewan ami B.C. Since arriving in Cassiar, Mary Ann has proved to be a keen and most competent curler. She has contributed many hcurs towards the numerous successful socials at the curling rink. In her leisure time Mery Ann reads and enjoys listening to her fab- ulous collection of records. TH BFE TELESAT GETS CLOSER Our engineering department has been contacted by a contractor who will carry out some prelimin- ary soil investigations and survey work this spring. Nothing defin- ite yet on where the Telesat TV receiving station may be, but my guess is not far out of town, Lots of folks ask us if it will carry color TV.
