As such, it is our mandate to report on issues of interest to students in thé Northern Region. We encourage all students, both on the main and regional campuses to submit to Over the Edge. No matter what career you think you're going into, working at a newspaper is a great way to meet people, make contacts, hone valuable workplace skills, and as such, it looks good on a resume. Don't worry if you think you can't write or don't have the time, it’s actually much casier (and more enjoyable) ae you think. Our first meeting was held last Thursday, and it was the largest turnout I’ve ever seen in my admittedly short time at Over the Edge. Id like to give a special thanks to all our new and returning members, seeing your interest has put me in a better mood than I should be during the first week of school. We will be hiring for editorial positions at the end of the month. If you think you might be interested in this, send a resume in to over-the-edge@unbe.ca, and start contributing to the paper ASAP. Though we welcome help in all areas, there are couple of areas where we really need it. Some mote people in our sports staff would be of great help, and we are also looking for up-and-coming techies to improve our website.
