Dr. Don Cozzetto and NUGSS President Liam Iliffe
smashed their way through the walls of the old cam-
pus fitness facility, formally marking construction

of the $2.4 million Northern Uadeaiatuate Student
Centre (NUSC). :

NUSC, slated for completion by September, “will
mark a new era of life. ..on campus,” Iliffe expressed.
The over 2 000 sq, metres of study, lounge, club, of-
fice, concert, and pub space “will become a student

executiv with UNBC hub,” heightened by the centre’s close proximity to

the bus loop and student residences.

beckoned to the other NUGSS members around her
stating “it was all because of the students.”
Donning hardhats and sledgehammers, Cozzetto and|

‘Tliffe punctured the walls, making it a little easier for

local company IDL Projects to carry out construction.
