Huijbers. azviving at Dawson, we visited the Museam which was a mist. Driving around Dawson, We were surprised to see the many new homes end lovely flower gardens. Then by Perry over the Yukon river and a 60 mile drive to the Alaska Highway. Arriving at Fairbanks and a short satay there, we journeyed on to Mr McKinley Neticnal Park, truly a place of beauty te the tourist with majestic Mt. WeKinley towering 20,270 feet. (The highest Mountain in North Americas) The Park area serves a8 a reservation for Bear, Gaxibou end other geme. On our way to the seaport of Valdes, we visited fabulous Worthington Glacier. Then a Gvive through Palmer, Anchorage, Portage, Seaward and south to Homer, a siall fishing) town and port. At Kenai Penineula, we watched the Silver ani King Salmon Fishing, | seeing some from 10, up to 65 lbs. We Visited with a homesteader near Kenai who ceme through Cassier on his trek up from the U.S. sane weeks agog We learned that his son was treated at the Cassiar Hospite at that time. 4 Prom Kenai, back to Anchorage, an all American City, clean and very modern with big stores am Pins restenrants, While sightseeing end shopping we met Rhona MeBurusy and Eileen Mueller (ex-enployses of Cassiar) who had been holidaying at Mt McKinley Park, They send their best Yegerds to their friends in Cassiar, 4 ésive over the Glenn Highway led us through a game reserve to Sheep Mountain Lodge.
