Professors dressed up and looking weird....

Come along to the Installation of the new President, Dr Charles Jago, on Thursday, October
19, in the Civic Centre, starting at 2:00. See a highly colourful ceremony, with traditions
stretching back to the Jurassic era, and listen to the unfolding of the new vision of UNBC.

Tell your grandchildren you were there. There’s even free transport, and
refreshments at the conclusion.

Reserve yourself a ticket at either the Student Society office, the Registrar’s
reception area, or Student Services.

At 7:30 in the evening, after the horse has bolted (and some hot munchies, served from
6:30), The Great Presidential Debate will be held in the Northwood Winter Garden. Two
teams of academics and administrators will debate the crucial issue — Whether
UNBC Actually Needs a President.

Brought to you by the purveyors of the Great Santa Debate, this event will include
Miscellaneous Entertainments of a Humourous Nature and a Musical Conclusion.
