“It’s an all-in-one piece of furniture for
the small police office,” explained Corporal
Davidson, as we looked over the ingenious
layout. “The left-hand top compartment
has three partitions, used for police forms.
The right-hand top compartment holds
office supplies, fingerprint equipment and
such like. Now, here,” he said, pulling out
a small drawer on the left-hand side, “is
where we keep the file basket and file
books. The two lower drawers on the left
hand side hold files, the top one the current
year and the lower one last year’s.”

The typewriter folds back into a space
12 inches deep, and back of that are com:
partments for correspondence, voucher
forms, letterheads, etc. The desk lamp
swings in and out. The two arms to hold
up the typewriter base push in and out.

Fifty-four inches in height, 45 inches
wide and 26 inches in depth, the cabinet is
particularly pleasing in appearance and
gives the maximum amount of usefulness
in the smallest amount of space.
