Anproximately 4Q eaner carwashers turned out to wash asbestos and mud from various and sundry trucks and cars. A total of $65.09 and 80 chanped hands was earned through this car- wash, The Students! Council] would like to nublicly thank Mr. Hans Veltmeyer and his plant maintenance crew for allowina us the use of the fire hoses, and Mr. \. Zemenchik for donatina 20 Ibs. of rans for use in the car-wash, The council has other activities planned for raisina money, and they wil] soon be put into action. Vatch for them! Mr. and Mrs. John Olson are at present in the proc- ess of selectina and train- ing teams for our first tournament, which will pro- bably ba held in late Nov. at Cassiar School. We hone all parents and others interested in school athle- tics will support us with loud cheers when the time comes.
