Trenching and diamond drilling was carried out on a copper showing in the Fire Lake area, northwest of Watson Lake, but nothing of economic significance was disclosed. An option on a new asbestos find in the area was obtained late in the year. Additional claims were staked and the property will be examined next spring. STAFF CHANGES AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS Mr. N. F. Murray resigned as General Superintendent at the mine and Mr. J. G. Berry has been promoted to fill this vacancy. Mr. N. Gritzuk has been appointed Assistant to the General Manager and Mr. Earl McArthur promoted to General Superintendent, Transport Division.
