Indoctrination Of Lions 1975-76 Breautin

On Friday, June 6, 1975 the Cassiar Lions held a
small social evening with a wonderful dinner served by
the Cafeteria staff.

After the meal Lions President George Humphrey pre-
sented a few appreciation awards to various Lions that
he considered had done a good job during the past year
with the Lion of the Year Award going to Lion Dick fh
McClellan for his dedication to the Cubs and by the week-}
ly bingo games held all winter to raise funds for the vs
swimming pool. : K

The meeting was then turned over to Deputy Governor 455 Pa
Ed Michael to indoctrinate the new officers for the 7%
1975-76 executive:

Deputy Governor Ed charged the new executive with
the job of completing any projects that were started
last year and also to improve if possible the image of
the Cassiar Lions in the Commmity, in the District and
with Lions International.

The evening carried on till the small hours with
dancing and refreshments, a fitting start for the new

executive and good luck for the coming year.

. Ss Thirteen years ago the Cassiar Lions cleared this
C A S S A R C E M E - E R Y (BSarea and put up the steel fence around the cemetery.
WE For the past 13 years the Lions with the help of Cassiar
Asbestos have kept the cemetery in good shape by plant-
ing grass, putting up crosses, repairing the fence and
in general making the cemetery something to be proud of.
