DART CLUB

The Cassiar Dart Club began another season
with an election of officers. Mr. Bob Lovell
was elected president and his committee
consists of Mrs. Valerie Melnyk and Mr.
George Brewer. Notices will be posted
shortly advising of the first club meeting.

Anyone interested in playing darts may con-
tact Bob, Valerie or George for additional
information.

LIBRARY

The Cassiar Public Library has moved to
another location in the community centre.
As a result, the library is somewhat dis-
organized and the members are asked to bear
with the library staff as they gradually bring
order to the shelves.

There will be no Cub meeting held on
December 27th. The next meeting will take
place on January 3rd.

BOTTLE DRIVE

A reminder that the beer bottle drive is on
once again, with collection being handled by
the Venturers, a branch of the Boy Scout
organization. PLEASE be sure to save your

bottles and put them out Saturday mornings.

CURLING CLUB NEWS

Curling began on Monday, December 18th,
following a very successful first social on
Saturday, December 16th. Sixteen rinks are
now competing for the Ambassador and AIM
trophies.

The next social will be held on Saturday,
January 6th. It will be for members only.

Due to health reasons, Mrs. Rose Ebbinghoff
will not be conducting majorette classes for
several months. An announcement will be
