Tickets are now on sale from any member of
the fire brigade. Price $12.00 per couple,
including dinner. The Northernaires from
Whitehorse will be playing for the dancing.

The ladies of All Saints Church wish to thank
all who contributed so generously to the
Rummage Sale held on September 20th. The
amount of $104.41 was raised for the Biafra-
Nigeria Fund.

The McDame Social Club would also like to
extend thanks to all who attended the Beer
Festival held on September 13th and made it
such a success. Thanks are extended as well
to those persons who contributed their time
and effort toward the project.

Snow on the mountains reminds us that the
long winter evenings are again fast approaching
and we would recommend that you visit our
local public library and enjoy some of the
good books added during the past summer to
our already extensive selection.

Prospective members are advised that the initial

fee of $5.00 is refundable should you leave
Cassiar, and it covers family as well as single
memberships.

VOLLEYBALL

At a teen dance held on August 24th, the
Cassiar Challenge Trophy was presented to the
Red Barons, winners of the mixed league.

the trophy itself, as well as individual trophies
to the team members.
