HON. GORDON S. WISMER Attorney-General of B.C. NINETEENTH EDITION VICTORIA May 27th, 1G ae) 8 PROVINCE OF r 71 we SH cow The Editorial Board, Shoulder Strap Magazine, Victoria, 3B. Cc. Gentlemen: - : It is with a great deal of pleasure that I learn the "Shoulder Strap" is about to renew publi- cation. Ever since the regrettable death of the late Mr. A.A. Brookhouse in early 1948, the "Shoulder Strap" was left without a publisher and the British Columbia Provincial Police without an official maga- zine. Through nine years of excellent service, the "Shoulder Strap" had made a place for itself in the field of police and family publications. Serving both the Force and the general public, a wise and careful editorial policy had created a magazine which could be left in the living room of any home for the whole family to read. On this occasion of its renewed publication after a year and a half of suspended operation, may I extend to the "Shoulder Strap" my very good wishes for its future success, and for those things for which it stands, loyalty, integrity and public service. Yours sincerely, ee, Attorney-General. Page Three
