Last year a newly founded Vets Association erected a cenotaph to honour the fallen and a memorial service was held in the community centre followed by the parade to the cenotaph. This year plans are under- way for a similar event and we hope all the organizations in the town will once again participate. Everybody can "do their bit" by buying poppies, the money for which will go to help people less fortun- ate than ourselves who were victims of these man made holocausts. x * « NEWS Around Foun... Hawrelak NEIL GEORGE VISIT {0 CASSTAR Mr. George, the internationaily known Safety Expert and consultant; author of "The Principles of Safety" and the 5-point Safety System, was at Cassiar during the week of Sept. 12th - 18th. At that time he conducted a course in "Communications" and “Sources of Authority and Control". Management personnel, Supervis- ors, Foremen and Lead—hands attend- ed with a total of 63 taking advan- tage of the opportunity to gain knowledge from such an expert in this field.
