Bill is from New Zealand by way of San Francisco, where he has been attending university for the past four years. Following closure of the school term here, Bill will be holidaying in New Zealand for the summer. “ telcome to MARGARET (MOLLY) MUSSEL, (2 latest addition to our hospital staff, Molly is from Spencerville, Ontario, and plans to remain in Cassiar until September, when she will enroll at Dalhouse University for further nursing studies. Good luck come September, Molly. Still on the subject of our nurses, farewell was bid to ANNE WATTS recently. Anne left for Vancouver on May 4th, where she planned to spend a short time before taking a cruise through the Panama to the Caribbean, and on home to Wales. Best wishes for a very happy voyage. kK ok ke ke k ok A couple of familiar faces have showed up lately. One belongs to MATT BELL, working in the Geology Department, and the other to NORM KELLY, of the Engineering Office. Welcome back. Departing from Cassiar recently were ALMA and TOM GALLAGHER, AND FAMILY. We understand they have gone to the Fort St. John area and wish them the best of luck in the future. ALAN ROBINSON has left the Geology Department, we are told, but expects to be working in the Dease Lake region this summer . Another departure from the Geology scene is CHRIS LORD, who left on May 17th for Clinton. We would like to welcome DEWEY SPICER to Cassiar. Dewey will be Assistant Recreation Supervisor for the Community Club. He has been working recently in Ontario but hails from Nova Scotia. CONGRATULATIONS - STAN and POLLY HUFFMAN on the birth of a daughter, Linda May, on April 30th in Whitehorse. The baby weighed 5 Ibs. 6-3/4 oz. A very recent departure from Cassiar was PETER TRNKOCZY, Welding Foreman. Good luck in the future.
