Discharges into atmosphere. There are no

point source emissions to atmosphere from
process equipment at the mine other than
those from mobile equipment (e.g. truck
exhausts) and small heating units which
are exempt from ete Pollution Control Act,

1967, under Section 5A.

It is noted that fugitive emissions occur
as a result of blasting and the hauling of
waste and ore. No technology is yet
available that would entirely eliminate
these fugitive emissions. The recent

federal Asbestos Task Force reports,

however, that such emissions are relatively

insignificant.
