All positions require: e a Class 5 driver's licence e the physical
ability to work in the forestry field. Preference will be given to
those who have demonstrated outstanding teamwork and
leadership skills.

Members of the Field Layout Crew will be responsible for layout [AW ALLEN, DON'T ASK.
activities including: e performing photo interpretation e layout of
cutblocks and roads » painting boundaries e traversing e identifying/
managing pests e collecting silviculture prescription data (including
eco-typing) e completing layout reports e cutting permit applications and
field resource assessments.

Silviculture Assistants will supervise planting, site preparation and
brushing programs as well as update activity information in a computer
database. You will also utilize performance management systems to
provide contractor feedback and report your progress to the silviculture
team.

Timber Cruisers &
Compasspersons

You will be responsible for all cruising activities. This will entail: e pre-
stratifying photos e developing cruise plans e performing operational
cruising e mapping field information.
