LEGISLATIVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
2002 Program

To provide recent university graduates of a B.C, degree granting institution
the opportunity to gain knowledge and appreciation of policy-making
within the province’s parliamentary system

WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Those who have received a Bachelor’s Degree from a B.C. university or
university college within two years of January 2002

LOCATION
Parliament Buildings, Victoria, British Columbia

TERM
January 1 to June 30, 2002

STIPEND
$15,175 for 6 months (subject to review)

4 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2001

Multiplex, and continued for
a good five minutes in
appreciation. Other high-
lights were the lighter and
glowstick fest of “Long Time
Running,” and a fan with an
airhorn going off at the per-
fect moment for Gordon to
point and say “I think that
there’s a problem here...”
and launch into “Boots or

Hearts.” “Bobcaygeon” and
“Blow at High Dough” were
reserved for the encore, and
all too soon those precious
2 1/2 hours were up.

The Hip concentrated
more on their later albums,
which was a little disap-
pointing to those wanting to
hear oldies like “Highway
Girl” or rarities like “Get
Back Again.’ A number of

their hits were missing,
mostly those from “Road
Apples.” But that was ok -
other songs like “Flamenco”
would never had gotten play
in a regular show, and that’s
what the “Evening With...’
shows are all about - sur-
prises.
