Fit For Royal TABATHA LUNDHOLM Co-Epitor in Cuer/Arts Eprror The debut from a stunning new local band entered the final frontier this week. The band is The Concems of Royalty, and their new CD is a mere EP, but . still packs a punch. With only four songs, this two-man band seems to be sending out feelers into the general Princé George audience. Nathan Kelly and Sean Siddals - are the masterminds behind the Concerns, equipped with “guitars and... a noise,” the duo managed to ' make catchy indie-folk songs complete with great harmony in songs like I Saw God. Haunting vocals in 82 are a great opener to a shockingly good mini-album. Giving thanks and recognition to great artists like The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, William Shatner and Bill Murray on their MySpace, the boys show a flair for comedy, and a lust for music. For a first album from a local PG band, the whole deal is nicely | packaged. With a luscious inside | cover complete with lyrics and | liner notes, and their own personal website promoting the band, you can see that they’re in this for the long-haul. This band brings some much welcomed talent to the already booming Prince eae music scene. Serious music-makers making seriously great music. You can check these guys out for yourself at www.myspace. com/theconcernsofroyalty, or at their own website, www.thecon- cernsofroyalty.com UNBCdrama@gmail. | AMBER RICHARDS STAFF WRITER What do you think of when you see a sign? Just think of any kind of sign. It could be just as simple as a square or a triangle. What do you think when you see it? Me, I think of a killer. A killer who throws you off by using sym- bols to try to get your attention. A killer who kills in the strangest ways, then calls the cops and tells OVER THE EDGE March 14, 2007 about the movie “Zodiac”. Now I am sure that you have already heard different questions about this movie: Is this one a good one? Or is this a bad movie which cheesy plot lines? I think for - bringing the audience into a story that is true, they did a good job. The cast was an excellent choice. Trying to find the story line right away was kind of confusing but ‘them that he did it. I am talking - nonetheless, it’s a good movie, in my opinion. This movie is about a killer who sends these letters along with a note with symbols on it. The cops, investiga- tors as well as many -other small roles such as a decoder, couldn’t figure out what the killer wanted, or more © importantly, who he | was going to kill next. = Until the first letter came to a newspaper office. A cartoonist who is played by Jake Gyellenhall starts to see something that killer left. He keeps looking into who the killer is when everyone has given up. When he does find something out, it’s already been 10 or so years down the road. Without giving too much away, I think you would need to see it yourself to:know more about the movie. I give this movie, 4 out of 5 realistic movies. RESTAURAN T It’s Time to Take a Break!!!
