SCHOOL SPORTS Sports activities at the school are orqanized in a somewhat different fashion this year. In order to pro- mote a more competitive spirit in athletics within the school Mr. Olson and other teachers have divided the school population from qrades 2 to 10 into three different ''Houses'', Each ‘ House selected a name for themselves and elected a boy and girl as house rep- resentatives. Each lunch- hour the house representat~- ives are responsible for ensuring that a full team is ready to play a scheduled game. During Sept. and early “Oct. floor-hockey was the prevailina qame and the Haidas proved to be winners in that sport, with the Tahltans and Tomahawks clos- ely behind. In October and November, the students will be enqaq- ing in Volleyball and Good- minton competitions while the ''Midaets'' (Grades 2 & 3 students) will be playina minor aames.
