: Over The Edge Page 11 Canucks Are Back On Track By Jeremy Fung After a dismal start to the 97-98 hockey season, the Vancouver Canucks have made a dra- matic turnaround. Following a ten game losing streak, and a change of coaching, the new Canucks are now 6-1-2 in the last nine games. This gives them a point percentage of (.777) in the last nine, overall they have a (.407) record. The change could be attributed to the new coach, the change of GMs, or the return of Alexander Mogilny. | believe that the change is more attitude then anything else. If they can keep up this record they will have no problem getting into the playoffs. Women’s Basketball Season Summary by Jeremy Fung : The Women’s Timberwolf basketball team has had an incredible record this season. In their first six games they are undefeated! They have three more games this season, and they are likely to finish first overall. They have been playing in a small gym, so the space for fans has been very limited. Next year the team is planning on organizing transportation to the games. Seeing as the team is winning it should be no problem getting support from the students.
