A bar | would bring money into the university, as they do on | other campuses, so that next year there might be some money for needed programs. If the administration still won’t support a bar maybe we could get their support by banning men from it ( don’t laugh this has worked in other cases). Every other university in BC has a bar on, or extremely near, campus and many colleges the size of UNBC gave a bar on Campus, yet we have none. Hopefully the new student government will work toward a bar on campus to bring us into line with other institutions in BC. Although you may have different problems or gripes about our new university I urge you to make your views known so that we can work for an improvement in the near future. » Dear Editor, Your editorial in the latest | Over the Edge served its purpose in that it made me do some serious thinking about ‘ the role that a student play in a university.
