The inspiration for this weeks question comes from my own neurotic paranoia. After the residence fire alarm tests | began thinking, “What would | do if |
woke up to a fire alarm?”. The smoke burning my eyes as | look out to see the only one left inside is me. So many happy memories, cherished things, all
about to be engulfed in flames. Without thought | would grab the binder beside my bed, and holding every piece of fiction | have ever written, | would make
the mad dash for the door. I’m more likely to ignore practical advice, you know, the basic “get out and call the fire department (the faster, the less you lose),

crawl along the floor and most important stay clam.” | also assume most people are like me, ok, excluding the neurotic paranoid thing. So this week’s ques-
