At first | thought that it might be some kind of G, Class trip or something, but lo and behold, Most of these poor people appeared to be clothed in their night attire. What had caused this strange exodus? | set off to the Housing Services to find out. It turned out that a contractor, who was working on the lawn with a backhoe, accidentally tore up the main gas line, which heats the hot water, into the resi- dence building. The decision to evacuate the building was made ‘and the fire alarm was set off.
