(f) Areas classed as hay meadows had to contain eat
Least twenty-five per cent of mesdow land pro-
ducing abundant crops of hay whieh covld be har~
vested in am averagze season.

Very little wet land oceurs in the dise
trict, consequently there are practically no me: dow
ianés. The higher lanés produce an abundant crop
of upland hay but these lands are classed as suite
able for other agricultural purposes. The accompany-
ing mep shows the only lends classed as hay ne dows
in the district investignted.
