the juice. Try canned dark red
cherries and frozen raspberries,
j plus whatever else you like.
Cream, heavy (s pint)

Wash the fresh fruit and remove
stones, stems, and so forth. Defrost
the raspberries. Drain the canned
cherries and have the juice ready to
use in a separate cup.

Line a good-sized deep bowl with
thickish slices of bread, not over-
looking the bottom. Then pack your
fruit, mixing the varieties well, on
top of the bread and fill the hollow
completely. Add some of the juice
from the different kinds of fruit,

\ enough to soak the bread but not more.

Put the bowl into the refrigerator
