The perfect time of year to catch up on all of your readings and homework assignments....right? Before you know it February will be over and then just one full month left in the semester and then everyone’s favourite time of year — EXAMS! If you are not too busy with your academic life there are lots of things around campus that you can get involved with. This time of year is particularity jam packed with activities to participate in. Not only is Over the Edge looking for contributions and hiring — NUGSS is also undergoing election fever. There are several different positions that are up for grabs for the budding politician in you. It is also important to keep in mind that there will be a referendum this election, so it’s important to get caught up on all the facts and issues. If you flip through this newspaper you will come across a few articles on the upcoming NUGSS election which should help you learn a little more. And if politics just isn’t for you, maybe the world of journalism is? Over the Edge is currently looking for a Sports Editor, but as the semester comes to a close we will be looking for several other editorial staff potions due to the age- old graduation problem! So, if you think working for your student newspaper would be a rewarding experience (and it would be) then you should really send us an email!
