Ell — Milling dust losses here also include plantsite support emissions ,: such
as the Powerhouse. Inside the Mill itself, all process and environmental
air is filtered and recirculated. Total Plantsite Emissions to atmosphere
have been calculated for 1975 to be. 113,000 SCFM with an average O.a2
GR/SCF. This is approximately equivalent to 500 tons per year. Assuniing
approximately 50 tpy from drying (E9) an estimate of 450 tpy remains from
milling and support services. This figure has been used for 1970-74.

E12 - Tailings dumps include both rock rejection and mill tailings. Estimate is
based on total of 0.05% reject tonnage, and 0.5% mill tailings tonnage
(much dustier material) for 1970 and 1973. :

£13 - In 1974 a dust treatment system was installed for mill tailings (not
rejected ore) reducing dust losses to estimated less than 0.02%, based
on dust fall measurements. System was operational in July, therefore, tail-
ings dump losses for 1974 are total of 0.05% reject tonnage and 0.26% mill
tailings tonnage. Reject tonnage estimated as 22% of net tons milled (Eh).
Mill tailings, tonnage estimated as net tons milled minus the sum of fibre
production and reject projections.

E15 - This is a reliable estimate. Mill tailings average 2 - 3 % + LOM fibre, re-
ject tailings average similarly but fluctuate between 1% and 4%.
