by-election October-November 2014 = Se BO fio Club Spotlight: NHSS Drew Grosse President | NHSS he Northern Historical Student Society is an organization for students studying History at UNBC. Whether you are a History major, minor, or are just interested in the past, we welcome and encourage anyone to be a part of our glorious revolution-- one where the people rise up to be active in fashioning a lasting, engaging, fun, and awesome club for students at UNBC to share their experiences and their love for the past. Come and join us throughout the year for amazing events, contests, movie nights, parties, study groups, seminars, luncheons, raids, pillages, adventures, imaginary cave spelunking, tomb raiding, sea voyaging and many other endless, parallel universe possibilities as we storm the gates of the past to better interpret our future. Together, we practice the essential characteristics of the historian: empathy, imagination, and explosions. We, the proletariat, will make history this year and we hope you will rise with us! This could be the most interesting coup you will be a part of since the siege of Troy, the fall of Constantinople, the defenestration of Prague, or the Russian Revolution.
