RESIDENTS OF CASSIAR - USE OF SNOWMOBILES Snowmobiles must not be used after 9:00 pm in the townsite unless the individual is going to or returning from work. The R.C. M.P. warn that if any complaints are re- ceived, new bylaws will have to be im- posed. Rod and Gun Club News... Every Monday evening :... 8:00 p.m. in the Recreation Centre the Rod and Gun Club hold a .22 rifle and handgun shoot. Anyone wishing to participate are invited to parti- Cipate, however, membership is necessary and available at $5.00. Meetings of the Rod and Gun Club are held the first Tues- day of the month, the next meeting is scheduled for November 6, 1973. A Wild Life Supper is planned for the middle of November at which time the Fishing Derby Trophies will be presented. The general election of the Cassiar Town Council to be held on October 25, 1973 was cancelled in view of the fact that only one nomination was received for each Ward. Eley It might also be mentioned here - it is rather disappointing to see the lack of interest in what the Town Council is trying to do for you. Come out and express your views - there will be a public meeting of the Cassiar Town Council held on October 29, 1973 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lion's Room at the Community Centre.
