greater turnout than the previous event, with
about 60 people coming to see the three acts.

There were a few obstacles to avert in ‘the
planning process, with the lack of a sound sys-
tem and Avid dropping the bill last second, but
all panned out when Linga Sarira offered both a
sound system and an extended set.

The rock audience wasn’t quite as receptive to
DJ Frozen Ice Cube, a computer-based dance
re-mix artist, as a raver crowd would have
been, though his set was impressive none the
less, with seamless transitions between dance-
thumping songs.

Linga Sarira followed with an impressive,
hard-rocking set, followed by Pox Eclipse, a
similarly hard-rocking group. It was with Pox
Eclipse that the audience stood up in full force,
dancing along to the songs.
