COMMENCEMENT ANNUAL 6 oo ee Golden Glow A Juvenile Operetta There is never a Christmas season at Coqualeetza without an operetta. This year the younger children presented “Golden Glow,” a colorful and charming musical sketch. Amelia MacMillan interpreted the part of fairy godmother with pleasing ability. Dan Gonu as Boo-Boo left no doubt in the minds of the children but that there was one “really truly” Boo-Boo Man in the world. Jean Walker and Josephine Wilson as the little lame girl and the little rich girl acted their contrasting parts. The chorus work throughout had daintiness, brightness and rythm. The final chorus, “The Only Way to be Happy,” was particularly effective and concluded the operetta with a great deal of success.
