Mrs. Metcalfe and her group learned how to sketfh in-charcoal with frozen fingers. Mrs. Cousins seemed to be right at home in our B.C. wilderness. She was lucky to have a good day on June - 13th. Mr. Henderson-was seen - lost - looking for his Orienteering Group. Actually, he was very pleased at how quickly the 5/6's picked up compass skills. We had a fatality in our Bridge-Building Group. Donald Peterson decided to go swimming in the river - so we pulled him out on the end of his safety line - cold, wet and a little wiser for the experience. ; : The class raised $110.00 before the above program took place so that they could buy rope, plastic, etc. They. are going to donate their equipment and remaining money to an Outdoor Education Fund to be used to purchase equipment for later years. I would like to thank all those people who offered their time and services to making this program such a success. The students are eagerly awaiting a similar program next year. We hope that parents and teachers will offer their services as willingly as they did this year. - To those drivers that park their vehicles "SMACK DAB" in front of the sidewalk leading to the front entrance of the hospital.
